DART

DART (Discover, Assess & Recommend Tool) is the home-grown assessment toolkit built by Plain Source. It supports a principle-driven data capture and scoring process that helps clients break through outdated patterns and prepare for digital transformation.

Method

Rather than being a software application, DART is a structured methodology delivered as a set of templates and working documents.

Discovery phase
Built on documents such as the Architecture Compliance Checklist, the Architecture Stakeholder Map, and the Request for Architecture Work.
Assessment phase
The actual assessment instruments: catalogues of architecture principles, architecture questions, and digital-disruption questions (Excel workbooks) for the assess phase.
